Dean E. Taylor, president and chairman of Tidwater Inc., will talk about how Tidewater distinguishes itself in an increasingly commoditized business as luncheon keynote speaker at this year’s Tulane Business Forum. The forum, an annual presentation of the Tulane Association of Business Alumni (TABA), will take place on Friday, Oct. 8, at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel (please note the change of venue from previous years).
In addition to Taylor, this year’s presenters include Charles N. Kahn III of the Federation of American Hospitals, who will discuss healthcare reform; Robbie Vitrano of Trumpet and John Winsor of Victors & Spoils, who will talk about succeeding in the post-mass-media age; and David M. Brain of Entertainment Properties Trust. The forum will also feature a panel on alternative capital markets featuring J. Marshall Page of Jones Walker, Nicolas R. Perkin of the Receivables Exchange, and Christopher J. Perry of Thomson Reuters. The Freeman School’s Peter Ricchiuti will moderate.
