His paper “Bloatware and Jailbreaking: Strategic Impact of Consumer-Initiated Modification of Technology Products,” co-authored with Hasan Cavusoglu and Huseyin Cavusoglu, was accepted for publication in Information Systems Research, and his paper “Operational Role of Retail Bundling and its Implications in a Supply Chain,” co-authored with Qingning Cao, Kathryn Stecke and Jun Zhang, was accepted for publication in Production and Operations Management (POM). Geng is a professor of management science.
Ricky Tan’s paper “Altruism or Shrewd Business? Implications of Technology Openness on Innovations and Competition,” co-authored with Geoff Parker, He Huang and Hongyan Xu, has been accepted for publication in Management Information Systems Quarterly (MIS Quarterly). Amanda Heitz received the Best Paper Award from the International Conference on Banking and Economic Development. The conference was organized by the Center for Banking and Finance in Rio de Janeiro (CBFR) and took place Dec. 6–7, 2018, at the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE). Heitz received the award for her paper “Creditor Rights, Information Sharing and Borrower Behavior: Theory and Evidence,” co authored with John Boyd and Hendrik Hakenes. Heitz is an assistant professor of finance.
