Adrienne Colella, professor of management, received the 2022 Eric Sternberg Award for Faculty Research, which recognizes Freeman School faculty members for significant contributions to their academic field of interest.
John Healey, assistant professor of marketing, received the 2022 Dean’s Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award. The award is the Freeman School’s highest honor for undergraduate instruction.
Mike Hogg, senior professor of practice in business and legal studies, was named to Poets & Quants for Undergrads’ 2021 list of the Top 50 Undergraduate B-School Profs. The list, based on a national survey of business schools, was published in April 2022. Hogg was lauded for his dedication to teaching and extraordinary devotion to his students.
Osman Kazan, professor of practice in management science, received the 2022 Dean’s Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award. The award is the Freeman School’s highest honor for graduate instruction.
Gans Narayanamoorthy, professor of accounting, was selected as a 2022–23 Duren Professor by Newcomb-Tulane College. The Duren Professorship program supports faculty activities that enrich the scope of undergraduate education within the college. Narayanamoorthy was selected for his new undergraduate Risk Analytics course.
Alex Slepstov, lecturer in management, received the 2022 Dean’s Excellence in Intellectual Contributions Award, which honors professors of practice and lecturers who have produced outstanding scholarly contributions.
Cameron Verhaal, assistant professor of management, received the 2022 Irving H. Lavalle Research Award, which recognizes Freeman School professors for excellence and advancement of the highest standards of research.
Anthony Wood, lecturer in finance, was named to Poets & Quants for Undergrads’ 2021 list of the Top 50 Undergraduate B-School Profs. The list, based on a national survey of business schools, was published in April 2022. Wood was highlighted for his teaching in the Burkenroad Reports course and going above and beyond to ensure that his students understand the material.
