August’s yield curve inversion was yet another sign that the U.S. could be headed for a recession, but in remarks at the 2019 Tulane Business Forum, the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta said he remains confident in the strength of the economy.
In January, Freeman students visited the former St. Vincent’s Guest House on Magazine Street to learn more about a developer’s plan to turn the historic property into a boutique hotel.
In October, Freeman students and faculty traveled to Atlanta to meet and learn from some of the top names in hospitality. The trip was part of the concentration/specialization in entrepreneurial hospitality, a new focus area that emphasizes the customer experience as a means of creating a competitive advantage.
