Five Freeman School alumni are among the outstanding young executives in DiversityMBA Magazine’s Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executive & Emerging Leaders. The list recognizes exceptional individuals who have achieved success in highly competitive corporate, government or entrepreneurial environments.
Honored by the magazine were Angela Cao, head of the North American Seed Manufacturing Finance team for Monsanto Co.; Lakshman Charanjiva (MBA ’95), vice president and chief information officer at Florida Power & Light Co.; Rhonda Coignet (MBA ’05), senior staff assistant to the chief operating officer of Tulane University and executive director of strategic planning and special projects; Richard Hosey (MBA ’96), senior vice president and senior originator at Bank of America; and Rebeca Vargas (MBA ’00), senior vice president, marketing director and head of multicultural segment at JPMorgan Chase. In addition to the Freeman alumni, Deborah E. Love, vice president of the Office of Institutional Equity at Tulane University, was also included on the list.
DiversityMBA Magazine is an internationally distributed publication targeting multicultural professionals in corporate America and government as well as entrepreneurs and business students. The list of the Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executive & Emerging Leaders appears in the magazine’s summer 2009 issue.
